Heya, It's seems like forever since you've updated! My little one is actually standing up and can say all of four words now (she hit six months a week ago :D). And I'm going to be turning 21 just 2 months before my new little daughter, Kia, turns one and yeh, it makes me feel really old, too so you're not strange for feeling that way!! [Little Mommy]

yeah i know the feeling my brother got me addicted to final fantsay too so dont feel bad and your son should be crawling by know especially if he is almost 9 months old my one son was 7 weeks early and was crawling at 7-8 months old and walked at 11 and a half months old. but hey you will have that just be glad in a way that he is not crawling becasue then you really have to watch them because they get into everything. but then again he just might never crawl and just start walking but from what i here that is not good at all well good luck [radar1524]

Oh yes, I remember now. He can now wave, with is so cute. But if you are saying no and shake your head, he'll do it too. And sometimes just do it without you doing it. He's just full of cute things. Although he does scream when he wants to talk. Not a hurt or upset scream, just a "I like to be really loud" Scream. I swear I think the neighbors can hear it, but he doesn't understand "No" yet, he just think's I'm being silly. So it's hard to get him to talk in a normal voice. He prefers to be loud everywhere we go. That can be quite embarassing. And on a seprate note, my dad is keeping him tonight, so that me and Micah can go on date. Been so long since I have had one of those. Micah was the first guy I ever dated, and I ran off and moved in with him after only a few months of that. So I am really looking forward to tonight. This probably could have just been a new entry, but oh well. Sorry. [Pregnant_runaway]

that is how most of them start crawling. both of my kids did it. and him saying da da actually means in a way he is learning to tlak he just hasnt got the concept of who it actually is yet but he will very soon so wich means he will besaing ma ma too they are so cute when they start talking [radar1524]

Maybe what they mean by less formula is more solid foods. You are to give the baby as much food or formula the baby wants until 11 months when you start whole milk and less formula. [formerteenmom]

It is normal tostart weaning babies off of milk around the 6 month mark for western cultures. Have you tried pureeing his vegies? Maybe make him mashed potato and pumpkin. You could even mix the chicken with the vegies. [Sarah_53]

Thanks for commenting. I'm glad that you two aren't figting still. I am not so sure about how to get him to eat his veggies. My baby girl is still on formula and she is too young to start eating table foods. I wouldn't give him that until he is a bit older though. Talk to your doctor he/she will help I hope. Chey loves her veggies.. did you try to give him those first, instead of the fruits. that usually gets the used to the veggies..before the fruits. good luck [CHAYE]

That is why they try to tell you veggies before fruit but who listens? I would try to give him abite of his veggies and then a bite of friut to see if he will eat it that way. or mix it with his meat. that is the only advice i can give because my kids had no problem eating it and they also ate fruit first. so good luck and i would not give table foods till they are around 9 or 10 months old. that is when they are sitting up and trying to feed them selfs and if they dont have teeth give them crakers or baby crackers or baby fruit and veggies that are cut up the gradutes food they wont choke on that good luck in getting him to eart veggies [radar1524]

weddings do cost alot of money i wanted a real wedding and im going to get one since that is what my fiance wants too. he did the court thing. My son was breastfed too and I used a pacifier with him. Geez, if he wants to suck himself into submission, I was willing to let him do it! I empathize. a pacifier helps with there sucking it has nothing to do if they are hungry or not some kids like them some kids dont sometimes they just want to suck on something even though they are not hungry she is just a grandma they think they know everything. he is your son you know him better then she does so just ignore her for the time being. well gots to go good luck at the doctors [radar1524]

you should talk to the doctor about him spitting up and choking he could have acid reflex disorder my son had had it and belive me it was not fun. of course my son was three months early too and he had a lot of problems. he is fine now he will be 5 on the 23 of this month but i would ask the doctor to test him for that because it can be something serious well got to go [radar1524]

I dont know if you have considered name yet, but if you havent I would be vry glad to help! I have named lots of babies, and I love putting together the names and meanings. If you give me your full name, the fathers full name, (including middle names) and any other little tid bits of information I might need to come up with 10 great names. Also tell me wether you want old fashioned, modern, fashionably, fancy, cool, crazy,original etc. And if you have any preferences on what letters to start with. By the way these are only ideas for names, I am not going to MAKE you call your baby by this name, lol :) [*Namer*]

I just looked over your diary, and I have a few things to say: 1. I'm glad you seem so confidant and assured about this baby. A lot of other women your age in the same position would be really freaked out, so I guess this is a good indication of your maturity, which you'll need to take care of a baby (Of course, parents should also know when to be immature at times as well!) Some goes for Micah, seeing as a lot of teen fathers chicken out or become angry early on, but he's taken responsibility. 2. As far as you doubting your love for Micah, I'd blame hormones. 3. About those dreams you have sometimes; don't let 'em make you nervous. They can be pretty abstract at times. Although whatever you think of before you go to sleep can have a pretty major effect on your dreams (I hear it's possible to even "choose" your own dream, with a little bit of practice!) 4. About you not wanting sex earlier on in your pregnancy, a lot of women's sex drives are affected by hormones, in either direction. Some don't want sex at all ("I feel fat!" "I'm tired and achy!"), while others crave it (Contrary to popular belief, you can have sex during pregnancy - UNLESS A DOCTOR SEZ OTHERWISE - without any trouble. The baby can't get "poked" or see anything. In fact, some couples use sex to trigger birth if their baby is overdue, which probably started the myth about sex triggering premature labor. It only triggers birth if the baby is ready to come out!). Husbands also can be on either end of the spectrum regarding sex. But for husbands and wives, being on either end of the spectrum is perfectly normal (So neither should be offended if one wants sex and the other doesn't, but hopefully that won't be an issue!) 5. Hate ta say it, but you should probably continue to give up smoking even after the baby's born. It's not as dangerous as before the birth, but second-hand smoke is still a threat. I also know that the chemicals in cigarettes can be passed on through breast milk! I suggest finding out more on how you can quit smoking. Do some research! Go online! Ask friends! Although I know someone who kicked the habit by chewing on a Twizzler every time she craved a cigarette. Those candy cigarettes could be a good substitute, too (Man, I love those things!) 6. Have you decided on a wedding date yet? 7. Do you have a website? I'm sure a lot of people would love to see pix of you and your ultrasounds. And a scrapbook might be a fun memento of this occaision; you'll never have another first-born. 8. I wish you the best of luck raising your child! I hope to hear good news following the birth! doctors never know how far you really are that is why you can have they baby two weeks before or two weeks after your due date. the baby is already two weeks old when you do get preg if you did not know that already so it is one of those things you never know about just go by you due date the second one [radar1524]

i just got done reading your diary and it is normal to fell the way you do about your boyfriend but to tell you the truth sometimes when you feel that way about someone it usaaly dont work out after the baby is born even though i hope you are still together after the baby is born i raised my son from the time he was 6 months old till now he is 6 and his dad gets him on the weekends but i hope everything goes well and my son who is 4 now was always in my pelvic it hurts just be carefull and if you are still felling tired all the time try to take extra iron pills with your prenatal it should help. It may feel like the baby is taking for ever to come but guess what after it is born life goes by so fast so enjoy being pregnant. and by the way how old are you if you dont mind me asking and my name is radar1524 if you want to read it ok [Anonymous]

I didn't cry, but I almost did. Yes I wanted a girl. I wanted one real bad. But thank you on the congratulations. Having a boy is getting better to me. HEY! You sound A LOT like me! I am 17 and I just had my daughter last october 7th. She is 7 months today. How old are you? About the thing where you dont even feel attracted to Micah anymore. I feel the SAME way with my boyfriend. He is my daughters father, and I love him with ALL my heart, and want to marry him...but I dont know why but for some reason he'll walk in the room and Im just DISSCUSTED with him. When we have sex I dont find it pleassurable, and I dont know. Its weird, but I know EXACTLY how you feel!!! Girls are fun. You get to do their hair :) Lets hope for the best. I don't think you're too lazy at all. I'm 8 and a half months pregnant, and ever sine I was 3 and a half months I was exhausted from everything. And I was always an energetic person.
